Yorkie Puppies

Classic Yorkies is proud to offer this very special little boy to the perfect home. This puppy was hand fed from the age of two days. He has been my constant companion since that day. He is well socialized to people (he thinks he is one) and to cats and other dogs. He loves to be held and spoiled.

He is 12 weeks old and weighs just 1.6 pounds, so he will most likely be a small adult. According to estimates, he should weigh about 3.5 pounds when grown.

If you are the type of person who wants a tiny companion and can spoil him in the manner to which he has become accustomed, please email us for more details.$1,200 SOLD

How Much do Classic Yorkies Cost?

People often ask why Yorkies are so expensive. Unlike larger breeds and even some other Toy breeds, these puppies are extremely tiny when they are born and often have a difficult time in the first few weeks of life. The success of these first weeks requires a lot of time and sometimes can be costly. Sometimes these babies have to be tube- and then bottle-fed, which needs to be done every two to three hours around the clock. The end result—a beautiful, robust, healthy puppy—is well worth the effort.

Most of our breedings result in puppies who will reach about 4 pounds at adulthood. We do have some moms who routinely have puppies who only reach 2-3 pounds. In each litter there is the possibility of an extremely tiny puppy. We can’t begin to estimate the adult size of any puppy until they are 6-7 weeks old, and 8 weeks gives a more reliable estimate. It is for this reason that we don’t usually price our puppies until they are six weeks old or more.

We rarely have Yorkie puppies for under $1,000. If you are looking for a puppy in this price range, please consider rescue or check your local paper for a breeder.
